What: Do you know where your food comes from? TLF and Briar Patch are teaming up with a collection of local restaurants to highlight Nevada County Grown food (and wine). There will be prizes, events and lots of fun stuff. Plan to show up hungry
September
Our Third Brown Bag Gathering
Location: Sierra Commons
Date: TBA (check this website & Facebook)
What: Based off the projected success of the first two Brown Bags, we’re hosting a third! An informal gathering of local people who are interested in making connections, learning more about local business and economy and eating lunch.
October, November & December
October: Our second Business-To-Business Mixer.
The first one exceeded all our expectations and the feedback was great – so we’re going to do it again. A great chance to meet local business owners, eat some great food and find out what we can offer each other. Location & Date to be announced.
November: We’ll be kicking off last quarter with another full page ad in The Union. Members get first choice of spots. We’ll also be coming around again to replenish any marketing materials you might need, answer questions and wish you a happy holiday season.
December: We like to end the year with Buy Local Month. Take advantage of all we have to offer by displaying the TLF member sticker in your store window and encouraging your customers to keep it local for the holidays.
